Celebrate the sweaty season with the brilliantly unfiltered rap duo at Trans-Pecos in New York City on June 26.

We’re Throwing a Summer Party Starring Infinity Knives & Brian Ennals

Mark your calendars: On Thursday, June 26, we’re hosting a night of music, merriment, and mayhem at the DIY hub Trans-Pecos in Queens, New York featuring a special performance by the unbound Baltimore rap duo Infinity Knives & Brian Ennals, along with DJ sets from our very own Andy Cush. Our Spring Party with Lollise was such a smash back in March, we had to keep the good times rolling as we enter the season of heat. Once again, we’re excited to mingle with our expanding creative community—readers, writers, musicians, and everyone in between.

We’re extremely psyched to see Knives and Ennals, whose fearless new album A City Drowned in God’s Black Tears quickly became a staff favorite when it hit our inboxes earlier this year. The record has the duo doing battle with calamities both personal and political as they riot against atrocities at home and abroad. At the show, you can look forward to getting hit with Ennals’ unfiltered hooks and verses over Knives’ eclectic production, which pulls from hip-hop, Latin music, and even System of a Down. This will be the pair’s first live show in New York City following the new album’s release, and they have one of the most intense—and fun—sets you’ll ever see. They’re the perfect duo to take on this particularly disastrous moment in American history. For more on Knives and Ennals, check out Dylan’s recent Going Up profile.

Andy will be holding it down on the decks before and after the main performance, spinning music pulled from his personal collection. So come ready to show out for the love of music and community and independent journalism. Here’s that ticket link one more time. See you there!
